Trizub Miniatures: Bad, Very Bad Criminals Reviewed!

Just translated this new review from the kind lads over at Miniatures.Ru of the Trizub Miniatures' Bad, Very Bad miniatures. Thanks to this cooperation, I can also offer you some insides in the many great wargame companies in Russia and Eastern-Europe. As these reviews were originally made by the kind lads over at Miniatures.Ru I cannot answer questions regarding the miniatures but surely if you pop over at Miniatures.Ru, they will gladly help you out. Enough lets take a look at the Criminals.

The box

The miniatures come packed in a sturdy cartonboard box decorated with some nice traditionnal artwork. On the back of the box you can see the details such as the box content and pictures of the painted miniatures. The miniatures are further packed in a plastic container followed by a ziplock bag. Here's the artwork.

The miniatures

The miniature packs contains 4 metal or resin miniatures depending on which material you prefer scaled 28mm. These miniatures are sculpted in the same style as the previously reviewed special froces of which you find a review here. Although the miniatures' facial expressions seem a bit inspired by comics but they still look like the real deal. As you can see these criminals are equipped with a nice variety of clothing and weapons such as machineguns, pistols and shotguns.

Resin version - front

Resin version - back

Metal version - front

Metal version - back

The metal miniatures suffer from mouldlines across the face and arms while the resin miniatures are almost free of visible mouldlines and flash so I would probably prefer the resin ones which seem to be better value for your money.

Scale comparison

For the scale comparison I direct you to the previous review of the special forces in which you see the miniatures compared with the those of other manufacturers. You can find the review here.

The conclusion

These nice criminals can be used in a wide variety of modern settings although the both versions are useful. I would avoid the metal version for the reasons summed up above. Interested in purchasing these miniatures? You can order them directly from the Trizub Miniatures website.
