River Horse Games: Upcoming Terminator Wargame Kickstarter Miniatures and Terrain Previewed

Just found this Facebook group about the upcoming Terminator miniature game by River Horse Games: First of all, Kyle Reese, by the top-notch sculptor Michael Perry.

Kyle Reese (Sergeant, Tech-Com, DN38416) is a soldier in the human resistance from the post-apocalyptic future of The Terminator, where most of humanity had already been wiped out in a deadly nuclear war on August 29, 1997, sparked off by an artificial intelligence known as Skynet. The sentient computer system launched a genocidal war on the survivors. When Skynet sends one of its most feared machines, a T-800 series Terminator, back to pre-apocalypse Los Angeles, California on May 12, 1984, to assassinate the young Sarah Connor, Connor decides to send a soldier to intercept the Terminator. Sergeant Kyle Reese volunteers.

Along with this hero, some modular resistance. Work in progress resistance fighters (3" ups most likely for plastic tooling) by Bob Naismith. As you can see these come with lots of options including heavy support weapons such as rocket launchers. Currently we see four body poses of which one is in a kneeling pose.

Then we have the bad guys, here are some preview pictures of the upcoming plastic terminators! The Terminator is an efficient killing machine with a powerful metal endoskeleton, but with an external layer of living tissue that makes it resemble a human being.

Along with the pictures of some prototype assembled miniatures we see the fitting for the mould which will be used in hard-plastic injection production. In the pictures we can see a so named mini-sprue consisting out of two leg parts and two body parts (along with one loose torso looking at the spine) and weapon options. I only hope there will be some more poses as only two sounds a bit low.

Along with some blurry pictures of the markers, cartonboard terrain markers and one side of the gaming mat. As you can see lots of interesting previews, note this miniature game will be created by River Horse Games (no crowdfunding, just immediate public release), the company of Alessio Cavatore and will be distributed by Warlord Games.
