Fireforge Games has recently ventured into the world of fantasy miniatures in support of the popular community driven The Ninth Age fantasy wargame. They are looking to produce a full human fantasy army consisting out of their historical miniatures along with fantasy additions such as fantasy knights and pegasus knights. The latter have already been released as resin/ plastic hybrid sets including both nobles and common knights.
The following pictures have been previewed of their upcoming fantasy Albion's Knights which will be mounted on horses. I personally think that this new kit will consist out of their already available historical plastic knights and a new hard-plastic fantasy weapon, helmet and armour sprue which you can use to convert your historical miniatures in their fantasy equivalents. Can be mistaken but think this would be the most affordable and straight forward way to create such sets at minimal additionnal investment. Below you can see the artwork for these new fantasy knights and pictures showing some of the conversion parts as they are being mastered at Fireforge Games. The boxed set will include 12 fantasy knights and will be released in the autumn of 2017.
